The Good, The Bald & The Best Place to Buy Tires –

A cheaper tire means less tire.
Tread depth on off-brands start at 8/32″ instead of 11/32″ found on name brands. Since a tire is only good to 2/32″ – that is 33% less tire in the tread alone.
The contact patch on off-brands is narrowed by 10-15% to save on steel belts and rubber, giving you a tire size smaller in application.
Tread ‘siping’ (traction) may be non-existent and rubber compounding will be low quality resulting in less grip.
At Milnes, we price match. You will always get the best tires at the best price!
